Randy Fleming

Randy Fleming

2014-01-25

Kenneth “Randy” Fleming entered this life on August 13, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas. He died in Coweta, Oklahoma on January 25, 2014. Randy graduated from Memorial High School. He was a jack of all trades, and worked in the printing industry until he began a life-long dream of working with heirloom plants. He had countless hobbies and passions.

Randy was an aggressive intellectual with a tenacious curiosity about the natural world. He was a true nature lover, and could be found on a hiking trail at any point during his 57 years on Earth. He was an excellent storyteller, and the tales of his youth have become legends to all who knew him. He will forever be remembered as one who insisted that the beauty around him be appreciated and understood. He was larger than life, and the silence caused by his absence on this Earthly plane is deafening.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth S. Fleming. He is survived by mother, Elaine F. Fleming; sister, Susan E. Major and her husband, Richard Major; his son, Kenneth Ryan Fleming and his wife, Gigi; his daughters, Kelley Marie, Kristin Ann, Kaitlin Faye; his three nephews; countless other family and friends; and four beloved dogs.

His memorial service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 9350 E. 51st St. in Tulsa, Friday, January 31st, at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Oxley Nature Center. Moore’s Southlawn 918-663-2233. Share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
