Jim Riley
2016-12-29James (Jim) Ernest Riley Son of Violet G. Riley and John W. Riley was born in Tulsa on May 10, 1956, and passed away on December 29, 2016. He attended Memorial High School and graduated from Auburn University. He was employed by Kelvion. Jim is survived by his three brothers, Bruce and wife, Rita Skaistis, Michael and wife, Judy Skaistis, and Bryan Skaistis; nieces, Lora (Marty) Cloyd, Ali Kucsera and Abby (Kellen) Kitchen; and nephews, Jeff (Jennifer) Skaistis, Jay (Rachel) Skaistis and Jon-Michael Skaistis.
Jim was a friend to many. He loved the outdoors, engineering, and design.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 18, at 1:00 PM, at Southern Hills United Methodist Church, 6160 South Lewis, Tulsa, Oklahoma
I have many fond memories of Jimmy (he will always be Jimmy to me). His garage was a playground of rockets and planes (both flying and otherwise), go carts, and even a working model of a wind tunnel! On our bikes, we explored the world together, or at least a couple square miles of it, for many summers. He was funny and thoughtful. We grew up and went our separate ways, but I will always remember him with great affection. - Philip Lewis
