Bruce C. Wood, 54, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Bruce was born Oct. 15, 1956, in Tulsa, Okla. He played saxophone in high school and marched in the Rose Bowl parade. As an active member of his community, Bruce was the current president of Rolling Hills Country Club and had served on the board for serveral years prior. He had also previously served as president of the board at the Creative Arts Theatre and School (CATS), which included acting in roles such as Santa Claus and Scrooge. He was an avid supporter of his daughters' activities and coached his daughters in softball and soccer. Bruce was also dedicated to his accounting practice and all of his clients. He was an avid golfer and a great chef who loved "good food." He was known as a very generous, devoted, and kind person who loved his family. Survivors: Wife, Belinda Wood; daughters, Rachael L. Wood and husband, Jonathan Barnes, and Julianne J. Wood; mother, Virginia Wood; sister, Susan Gulford and husband, David; niece, Alayne Benassi and husband, Chris.
